Lechouri

Lechouri is built on one of the fir-clad slopes of Erymanthos. It is located at an altitude of 1000m and is 45km from Kalavrita. It is worth to walk among the stone houses, enjoy your food and coffee in the traditional taverns of the village and visit the Tower of Lechouritis (chieftain of 1821) which today has been turned into a historical and folklore museum by its owner.

An important monument from the past is the St George, a small monastery of the 16th century. The village is also popular to 4X4 enthusiasts, as it is a base to cross the fir forest to and from Vlasia. For lovers of hiking there is also the recognized path Lechouri-Kertezi, through the magnificent fir forest of Kaprivina. The village has more than 40 springs scattered in its forests.

You just have to approach them, feel their aura, get to know them.
