Glastra

A very small village, with very few permanent residents, but with remarkable religious and historical interest. There, on a rock, the old monastery that is historically connected with the Monastery of Agia Lavra was built, which fell into the cliff and there is a great preserved monument, the church of Panagia, in the rock with the image of the Lycaena who saved, feeding, a small child. There are also the churches of Agia Paraskevi, Agios Ioannis, Agios Andreas and Agios Georgios.
